L'Écluse arises from the union of Karl Espegard, Pablo Murgier and Ariel Eberstein, three musicians with vast experience who live in Norway, Belgium and France who bring new creations with a new and current language through a chamber music treatment.

L'Écluse puts virtuosity at the service of musicality, seeking to create a mixture of classical music with the Latin American tradition as a starting point towards other cultures. Firmly rooted in the melody and melancholy of the South American idiosyncrasy, the hypnotic sound of this trio is brought to life by the unlikely meeting of two Argentine musicians and a Norwegian. This group, with its new compositions by Pablo Murgier, evolves towards a type of music where "world music" and "academic music" become one.

The language of the trio L'Écluse merges all these elements but does not seek a clear linearity with any genre, inviting the listener to choose the order of the elements, seeking balance and thus being able to create their own universe. Representatives of a new moment in music Listening to music and the history of genres, L'Écluse takes the risk of flying over labels and simply finding an authentic and sincere sound.
