Norwegian violinist Karl Espegard and Argentine guitarist Leonardo Andersen bring together rich musical traditions from Latin America in a duo marked by passion, virtuosity, and spontaneity.

What began as a musical encounter in 2022 quickly grew into a powerful partnership. The duo toured Europe the following year with celebrated singer Mariana Mazú, and now perform regularly from their respective bases in Naples and Oslo. With their unique blend of Argentine tango and folk traditions, they deliver performances that continue to move audiences across Europe.

Karl Espegard is a Norwegian violinist with an international career, praised for his passionate playing and genre-defying musicality. He has performed at renowned venues such as the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and Konzerthaus München, and has toured widely across Europe and South America. His collaborations include celebrated artists such as Ylvis (What Does the Fox Say?), Alexander Rybak, Herborg Kråkevik, and Mathias Eick. With his tango project El Muro Tango, he was nominated for the 2024 Argentine Grammy Awards for the album Manifiesto.

Leonardo Andersen is an award-winning guitarist and composer from Tandil, Argentina. He has performed at major festivals like Montreal Jazz Festival and Uppsala International Guitar Festival, and collaborated with Cristian Castro, Abel Pintos, and Chango Spasiuk. His solo album Puentes was nominated for the 2020 Premios Gardel. He also contributed to award-winning albums by Franco Luciani and Mariana Mazú, and is praised for his virtuosity and versatility.
